     It’s packed with cute side streets and shops.  Crowded Fun - an Interesting place to shop.  If you get

The istiklal street is the heart of the city. it's really crowded has lots of restaurants and cafes. the shopping is excellent, so many shops along the way.  it's a wonderful place to visit especially at night. loads of street entertainment to see.

8. Topkapi Palace Get a taste of royal life. When you go don’t miss the exquisite collection of jewels in the Treasury.

Topkapi Palace is the largest royal residence in Istanbul and it served as the main residence to the Ottoman Sultans for almost 400 years. one of the oldest palaces to survive, it was  turned into a museum in 1924.

9.  Basilica Cistern.  Located right across the street from the entrance to Aya Sofya and the Blue Mosque. It is really cool (literally) to walk underground and see where water was stored back then.  Visit the cistern in the late afternoon when Istanbul is hottest. The temperature in the cistern is usually up to 20°F cooler than at ground level.  Don’t miss the Medusa heads

located right across the street from the entrance to Aya Sofya and the Blue Mosque. The Basilica Cistern is the largest of the ancient underground water cisterns found across Istanbul and is really cool to walk around literally
